Screenplay by 6 days in the Chapada Diamantina

Friendship is when you simply offers to invade the travel buddy and he thinks the idea great hahaha. That's how I ended up in the Chapada Diamantina, This has always been a destination that I wanted to go, but for a thousand reasons had never had the opportunity. When Ed said with a couple of friends, the crazy here begged to be taken together. And it's not that worked? We planned the trip at the end of the year to go in early January, my bosses Luckily they released me and I could go enjoy 1 short week.

Our roadmap, After analyzing the options was so:

DAY 1
Output of Salvador and arrival in Sheets

We were in 4, (me, Ed, Roberta and Leo) We rented at the airport of Salvador a Duster to give an account of the adventures, the reservation was made in advance. Until everyone meet and get the car was already more than half a day. Recommend the rent to make the Chapada Diamantina, you have more autonomy and freedom to create the scripts. The way drive ( and only with a stop for lunch ) until the sheets is very long, It took us about of 6 hours. so, the first day's ride is practically dead, You can't do anything.

We arrived in sheets at night, exhausted from the road, It was just take a shower and head out to dinner. Birdsong Pousada where we, She was so close to the city centre and went on foot to take the belly of misery.

The streets of downtown sheets are filled with bars, restaurants and shops, it has for all tastes. DAY 2
Pit of Hell / Gruta da Pratinha / Blue Grotto / Morro do Pai Inácio

Output Sheets towards Capão.

We would first Mosquito falls in Sheets but due to lack of rain in the region, We have recommended spending because the waterfall was dry.

We went to the well from Hell. You can click on to each attraction and know how to go about meeting: Pit of Hell / Gruta da Pratinha / Blue Grotto / Morro do Pai Inácio on our second day of adventure.

With opening day Sun, We went to the Gruta da Pratinha and the Poço Azul, is a "package" that you buy that includes both places, but no extra activities like zip line, stand up or paddle boat. We were there for lunch and we had time for the sunset.

One of the most traditional places of high to take advantage of the sunset is the Morro do Pai Inácio, the trail is very quiet and considerably more and more full when approaching the hour of sunset.

We arrived in Capão, at Tarumim, obviously at night. Hungry, We went into downtown Capon for dinner. Pizzeria Big Capon is famous for vegetarian pizzas and of course not lose opportunity to experience.

 

DAY 3

Smoke and Riachinho

Left early for the Cachoeira da Fumaça, the entrance to the Park was very near the hotel so went walk. In this park is not mandatory to enter with guide. DAY 4
Big hole

Capão output to Cascavel. We left too early since the trip was very long.

We arrived at the hotel Lotus, and we did it with the help of the conception, owner of pousada a last minute guide to go to Buracão waterfall. Don't do that or we, reserve before hehe. DAY 5
Smokey

It took to negotiate the guide the night before and almost ran out one to go to the Smokey falls. As this track is big one has to leave SUPER early and the Inn, used with this scheme, offers coffee before for those who need, In addition to making available for purchase a snack kit ( more than tired ) to face the adventure. DAY 6
Licuri, Poço Azul and return to Salvador

Following the lead of Mrs. Conceição da pousada Flor de Lótus, We decided to visit the waterfall of Licuri, literally she was just for us. To close the trip headed to the Poço Azul already heading toward Salvador, where we can get a bit of light in the cave. We arrived almost midnight in Salvador, We ate in a bar still open, wipe.

DAY 7
Bachelor Party

As the flight was late, We walk on the elevador Lacerda and ran some churches in Salvador until lunch time and we were eating a stew in the Municipal market. We flew into the airport coming on the edge but everything worked out in the end.

Tip Fora da Toca

Important tip bring cash, the only bank that we find in the cities was a Bank of Brazil.

A cool tip is you buy a backpack with water tank. Even sell just the separate reservoir. I bought one in Decathlon for guys who makes bike trail, It was the best cost benefit that I found. In addition to being waterproof, already come with rain cover and be full of pockets to separate things.

The ideal is to have at least two people to rotate the wheel that makes it less tiring, both the trip to Chapada and walks, in the end everyone gets very tired.
