The incredible sunset on Morro do Pai Inácio

Coming out of the Gruta da Pratinha We leave to the Morro do Pai Inácio. The road up there worth, the landscapes are beautiful and stunning, yielding ( even with the car in motion) beautiful photos of Chapada. Arriving by car is super quiet, just find a spot, Park and go to the booth. The entrance to the Hill is paid, a super value ok.

The sunset of the Morro do Pai Inácio is considered the most beautiful of the Chapada Diamantina, every evening hundreds of people go up the slopes to enjoy the view. The ascent is not SUPER pull, but it requires strength and patience, the whole route takes about 20 minutes. As we went to the sunset had a line going up the trail, so this affects the track time.

In 2018, the rise of the Hill was more quiet and safe, due to installation of wooden ladders, with handrails and railings, to get on top of the 1,500 m altitude of the Morro do Pai Inácio, Since it is estimated that 50,000 people visited the Hill last year. From above other famous spots can be observed as the Hill the camel, Wick and the three brothers.

Near the cruise don't forget to take a picture at the tip of the strategic rock. With the right angle it looks like you're sitting on the edge of the abyss. How nature helps a lot is hard to make a photo ugly or boring, enjoy the wind and take beautiful photos of loose hair with the landscape of the plateau in the background. Who has nature doesn't need to produce fan hahaha.

Who was Father Ignatius?

We heard a little history as the Guide tell a group around us. Father Ignatius would have been a slave around. Chased by henchmen of the Colonel, tried to run hiding on the Hill, to be found and cornered, He jumped off the top of the Hill. Legend has it that as he knew very well the whole Hill and region. He managed to hide, After this jump calculated on the slopes of the Hill.

The boys placed the GoPro to do a timelapse of the sunset and the video became huge, being honest, I couldn't find the video in my saved. Over the fabulous sunset, still got the Moon rising on the other side, the record was not the most beautiful but we tried.
